Latin America. Kramer Electronics will present at InfoComm Orlando its VS-34FD, a 34-port 8K format multi-format digital matrix switch with interchangeable inputs and outputs.
Kramer's VS-34FD supports HDMI, HDBaseT, DGkat, fiber optics, DVI, VGA HD-SDI, as well as analog and digital audio. The VS-34FD chassis is compatible with all existing cards (with the addition of an adapter) and futureproofs AV installations with an 8K-ready chassis for upcoming 8K cards. In addition, all ports can be used interchangeably as inputs or outputs, depending on installation requirements.
VS-34FD has a separate audio array in addition to the audio features of the installed cards, a built-in Ethernet switch for use with any card that has an Ethernet port, and hot-swappable redundant power supplies.
All cards can also be hot-swapped, and due to the switch's automatic recognition, there's no need to reconfigure them when you remove or insert cards, all in a convenient 4U format. Future capabilities will include Video Wall processing.
