International. Registration has opened for the new Cedia Awards and Leadership Conference. The conference, designed for executive leadership, will offer attendees a full day of educational sessions followed by the Cedia Awards Celebration.
The Leadership Conference will kick off with a keynote address by David Rendall, who will provide an unconventional seven-part framework for achieving competitive separation by accepting flaws, rather than correcting them. After the keynote address, attendees will have the opportunity to choose the two courses that interest them the most.
During the general lunch session, attendees will hear the latest economic and housing forecasts from Mark Boud, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of Metrostudy, a Hanley Wood company.
The afternoon session offers two additional courses for attendees to choose topics that encompass such as attracting and retaining talent, successfully navigating the lighting business, and building a great brand.
After the Leadership Conference, attendees have a break before the Cedia Awards Celebration. Cocktail hour starts at 7:00 p.m. With the presentation of the awards from 8:00.

As part of "Road to Cedia Expo," Cedia and Emerald Expositions will award category winners in the Americas region a Cedia Expo travel package that includes reimbursement for flights up to $500 and a three-night stay at this year's Cedia Expo hotel.
The Cedia Awards and Leadership Conference will be held at the Drake Hotel in Chicago from July 24-25.
