Mexico. Epson announced the appointment of Leopoldo García as the new Sales Manager for its distribution channel in Mexico. Among his responsibilities are the increase of the business, the management and maintenance of accounts and the development of programs for distributors of the local subsidiary. His incorporation into the company has already become effective.
Throughout his career, Leopoldo García has been part of important transnational companies in the Information Technology (IT) industry, such as Canon, Xerox, the wholesaler Ingram and the defunct Compaq, to which he has contributed a high level of performance that has led him to achieve, and almost always to surpass, their market shares in sales.
García's history at Epson already has a previous stage, at the beginning of the decade, which gives him an important experience and knowledge of the firm. In this company he has been dedicated to the planning and prediction of sales, to do inventory control, to create marketing plans (promotions, demand generation, increase in participation, to the search for new channels, launches, product displacement, etc.), serving wholesalers such as Azerty de Mexico, CT Internacional, Grupo Loma, Ingram Micro and Tech Data.
