Colombia. InfoComm Colombia celebrated its 10 consecutive years in the country and culminated with great success, after bringing together thousands of visitors interested in knowing the latest trends in technologies for audiovisual integration.
According to Max Jaramillo, Director of InfoComm fairs for Latin America, "this time we managed to convene thousands of professionals who during the three days of the event, massively visited the exhibition floor, interacted with the new technological solutions and were also surprised with the educational proposal that for the second consecutive year was organized in the educational format of Summits, in which each segment involved had its training space. Likewise, we had an offer of 2 additional congresses with a proposal of workshops, seminars and certifications".
This edition, the fair offered visitors different activities such as audio demos and mapping demos, in which companies and professionals specialized in these fields made a special technology installation to exhibit all the possibilities of some of the professional equipment present at the event, such as 4k projectors, of more than 50 thousand lumens for video projection.
The three events, held by AVIXA (the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) - an international association representing the audiovisual industry, organizer of InfoComm fairs around the world and co-organizer of the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) fair - and AVI Latin America and TV&Video Magazines, both from the LatinPress publishing house, continue to set the tone for the correct implementation of professional audiovisual systems, broadcast and integration of networks, voice and data.
With the idea of consolidating its relevance and accompanying its trade fair, which is the largest in the country, the organization held one of the most important academic meetings in Latin America with specialization in each segment. In this sense, InfoComm held 6 summits and 1 congress dedicated to professional AV technology, with a focus on digital signage, live events, AV technology for worship centers, control rooms, smart homes and unified communications.
For its part, TecnoTelevisión & Radio in 3 days of congress, one dedicated to radio and another to production and post-production of television, presented topics such as Business Models around digital video, Artificial Intelligence in news systems, the management and archiving of digital content and the implementation of audio links over IP, among others of technical depth dedicated to professionals in the sector.
On the other hand, the DataNet Andino congress focused on the current situation of the IT Industry, infrastructure for networks and data centers and addressed these issues in its academic meeting complementing others such as the IOT in Smart Buildings and Infrastructure for High Speed Networks in Data Centers, Physical Security for Datacenters, Drones and intelligent video surveillance versus data privacy, among others.
In addition to the massive attendance of professionals related to the industries of the three events, also the technology and business journalists had a special activity in which they toured the fair in a guided way behind closed doors, before the inauguration. This activity was attended by 30 specialized communicators.
With this positive balance, it is expected that the organization will soon announce the dates for its next edition 2020 of the InfoComm Colombia, Tecnotelevisión & Radio and DataNet Andino fairs that have already become an institution in the country and each year are expected with expectation on the part of all the protagonists of these industries.
