One of the concerns that this version of ISE will have is the global alert for the Coronavirus. That is why the fair has established some protocols with simple precautions in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment at the fair:
Frequently wash your hands using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water;
When coughing and sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or handkerchief: discard the tissue immediately and wash your hands;
Avoid close contact with anyone who has a fever and cough;
Keep up with World Health Organization recommendations for staying healthy.
Additional hand sanitizing facilities will be installed at multiple locations throughout the RAI.
The organizers of the fair are in daily contact with the RAI, airlines and public health authorities and continue to monitor the official advice of the WHO, the European Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (ECDC) and the Dutch Public Health Authority (RIVM).
Mike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events added: "Because many airlines have cancelled flights to and from China, we know that some Chinese companies may not be able to attend ISE 2020. We are communicating with our Chinese exhibitors and offering all the assistance we can."
