Peru. This Thursday, June 18, the free seminar "Smart Cities for a Safe Return to a New Normal" will be held, through which intelligent connectivity solutions, monitoring and rapid temperature detection of people during and after the global contingency will be presented.
In Peru and Latin America, they have already completed more than two months in a State of Emergency due to the pandemic. People wait for the moment to return to normality, they want to return to the streets, go to their workplaces and carry out leisure activities, but it is important to keep in mind the biosecurity and video security measures.
Faced with the current situation, people, companies and government have been adapting to the changes and have identified the new connectivity, monitoring and control regulations to launch security strategies aimed at all citizens. On the national scene, the different sectors have been forced to implement or improve technological solutions for connectivity and video security in places where there is greater traffic of people in order to control the spread of the pandemic, making use of viable and innovative solutions such as radio links, multisensor cameras and thermal technology.
The deployment of nomadic wireless solutions at the metropolitan and regional level is one of the opportunities identified by the multinational Infinet Wireless. Wireless communications allow rapid deployment of networks or strengthen existing networks to achieve better connectivity and thus be able to make use of technologies for data transmission, monitoring and connection of IP cameras as offered by the expert manufacturer Hikvision.
During the webinar, experts will analyze how governments can quickly deploy control points for the collection of information in cities or regions using wireless technology from Infinet Wireless, over distances of tens of km, allowing better and faster decisions to be made, this hand in hand with Hikvision solutions that are implemented with artificial intelligence and data analytics, for body temperature monitoring, facial recognition, guaranteeing access controls and avoiding crowding of people in public spaces.
The seminar will be given by Judith Chávez, business development manager at Hikvision Peru and Carlos Duque, technical sales manager at Infinet Wireless. This meeting is aimed at companies in the main sectors, such as: transport, food, entertainment, manufacturing, security, educational, financial, telecommunications, among others.
Wireless communication, PTZ cameras and multi-sensors can be seen as fundamental tools, not only during the prevention and mitigation stage, but also in the exit phase of the global crisis. In addition, to have technological solutions for a safe return in safe cities.
