International. KNX announced a further step in strengthening its internationalization process with the entry of Sony, which stands out as a new era that expands the KNX ecosystem to new dimensions with new possibilities, of which more and more technology companies want to be part.
Sony's Teos corporate solutions were expanded to include new building management features, such as heating control and automation. Our goal is to extend functionality and data capture from workplace devices to broader building management and offer unique solutions to your customers by combining AV, IT and building protocols.
Nicolas Berg, Sony's marketing representative, said: "We consider KNX technology as a key partner for building automation. That's why it was an important step for us to become a member of KNX. We can build our reputation and advance the development of our proposition to bring more value to the organizations we work with."
KNX President Franz Kammerl said: "Welcoming the 500th is a new milestone in KNX's history. In the last decade alone, the number of KNX members has more than doubled. We are very proud to have Sony on board and to see the global KNX community constantly growing. With KNX IoT as the cutting-edge technology and with manufacturers like Sony, we will shape the future of the Internet of Things."
