Latin America. Although remote work is here to stay, office facilities will not disappear; they will only evolve to allow your employees to work in a hybrid scheme, from the office, their homes, restaurants, hotels or from anywhere.
According to a survey conducted by Tripp Lite specialists, most companies are looking to work permanently in a hybrid format. These statistics indicate that 13% will completely give up their office space, 11% will work remotely most of the time, 32% will combine the hybrid work scheme at par, 26% will handle limited remote work schedules and 17% of companies want their employees to return full time to the office, as soon as possible.
It should be noted that for all these cases it is necessary to redesign the work spaces, in the office and / or personally, with standardized technology that supports the connectivity that is needed to achieve adequate communication, access to information and continuity of operation of employees, from anywhere.
The trend in office facilities is to use spaces to work flexibly and temporarily "Hot desking", which allows you to use desks that integrate connectivity and power protection devices to connect easily and quickly, in order to work efficiently, comfortably and safely.
To work in the office, or from anywhere, these are the technological devices that today take on relevant importance:
- Connection stations: They can be installed or easily transported anywhere and depending on the model, it allows you to connect two monitors to the laptop or PC simultaneously and / or add VGA connections to allow compatibility with monitors or screens that integrate this connector, HDMI to transmit audio and video to the monitor or screen, network ports to connect to the Internet, USB, PD charging, memory card and external memory reader, among other connectivity features.
- USB hub: they allow to increase the number of ports on the computer and connect at the same time, USB sticks, mouse, keyboard, printer, speakers, cameras or cell phones, among many other devices.
- Contact bars with peak and noise suppression with NEMA 5-15R outlets and USB charging ports, with antibacterial and antimicrobial coating that effectively inhibits bacteria and viruses.
- Supports of monitors, screens and mobile devices, which maximize comfort and space on the work table.
- Portable batteries and car chargers that provide employee devices with safe power charging, wherever they are.
