Latin America. With the launch of four new hanging speakers, Bose Professional expands the options of its DesignMax product line. These are the DM3P and DM5P speakers, the DM6PE speaker with classification for outdoor areas and the DM10P-SUB subwoofer.
Each unit, ideal for open ceiling installations, has an attractive design with a sleek aesthetic and provides a single-point recessed suspension system, allowing hardware to be kept out of sight, as well as maintaining and hiding a service cable for easy access in the future.
For years, system designers and installers have relied on Bose speakers to deliver world-class audio experiences in commercial sound installations. From retail stores to restaurants, hotels and convention centers, the DesignMax family offers a full range of speakers that deliver stunning sound anywhere, with rich bass and clear, intelligible highs, both indoors and outdoors.
First introduced in 2019, the DesignMax family includes two-way coaxial subwoofers and speakers with models available for ceiling and surface mounting, plus high-SPL compression driver options, compact models for tight spaces, and various IP55-rated options for outdoor areas. All models offer impressive performance, with no need for DSP or equalizer. They can also be paired with Bose's exclusive amplifiers and DSPs to enable bose speaker equalizer and SmartBass processing, extending performance and responsiveness at any audio level.
The DM3P, DM5P and DM6PE pendant speakers feature the Bose dispersion alignment system, which ensures a consistent sound experience throughout the room by matching woofer coverage to the tweeter pattern.

DesignMax DM3P Pendant Speaker
With two-way coaxial drivers, the 30W DesignMax DM3P features an 8.2 cm (3.25") two-way woofer and a 1.9 cm (0.75") coaxial tweeter mounted within Bose's dispersion alignment system and provides a frequency range from 75 Hz to 20 kHz.
DesignMax DM5P Pendant Speaker
The new 60W DesignMax DM5P is a two-way hanging coaxial speaker with a 13.3 cm (5.25") woofer and a 2.5 cm (1") tweeter mounted within The Bose Dispersion Alignment System, delivering a frequency range from 65 Hz to 20 kHz.
DesignMax DM6PE Pendant Speaker with Outdoor Area Rating
The 125W DesignMax DM6PE is a two-way hanging coaxial speaker that features IP55 rating for outdoor areas. It features a 16.5 cm (6.5") woofer and a 3.1 cm (1.25") tweeter mounted within the dispersion alignment system and provides a frequency range of 62 Hz to 20 kHz.
Subwoofer DesignMax DM10P-SUB
To complete the launches, the DesignMax DM10P-SUB subwoofer adds amazing bass for use in a wide variety of commercial installations. This 300W model features a 25.4 cm (10") woofer with a frequency range of 40 Hz to 125 Hz.
