Latin America. ADJ launched its Mirage Q6 PAK wireless uplighting system. Designed to meet all the requirements of lighting and event professionals, this all-in-one package features six rugged, IP65-rated, battery-powered, wirelessly controllable PAIR LED devices, along with a specially designed road charging case.
Along with long-lasting batteries and long-range wireless receivers, the devices offer a variety of useful features, including a built-in burglar alarm system.
Each individual Mirage Q IP device incorporates four 10-watt 4-in-1 RGBA color mixing LEDs, which combine to create a powerful color light wash with an 11-degree concise beam angle. By varying the intensity of the independent red, green, blue, and amber elements within each LED, the device can generate a wide variety of richly saturated colors. In addition to full-color mixing control, the unit also features 64 built-in color macros to help with quick programming, as well as 13 pre-programmed chase patterns to allow for easy setup when needed.
An internal high-capacity lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 11,000 mAh (typical) allows up to 40 hours of operation (a single color) on a single charge. Even with changing colors, the battery life is 20 hours and therefore more than enough for even the longest events. Between uses, it only takes 7 hours to return the battery to its maximum capacity.
Meanwhile, the device is also equipped with a built-in ADJ WiFLY EXR wireless DMX transceiver that has a range of up to 2,500 feet (760M). The device is also equipped with an infrared sensor that can be used with ADJ's UC-IR remote control (included) or the Airstream IR to quickly select pre-programmed color macros and chase patterns. This makes The Mirage Q IP a truly wireless lighting device, requiring no wired connections for either power or control.
A power button for the unit can be found on its base along with a large backlit control panel with four corresponding selection buttons. This provides access to a complete and intuitive menu system that can be used for DMX addressing, independent operation configuration and for the selection of the various operating options of the device. The display screen can also be used to check the current battery life of the device and an estimate of the charging time needed for the battery to return to full capacity.
The luminaire has a solid construction and an elegant reflective chrome finish. This mirror-like finish has a sleek look, but it will also reflect the unit's surroundings, helping it integrate into any place or stage, regardless of the décor. The luminaire is also waterproof, with an IP65 rating, making it suitable for temporary outdoor use with complete protection against the elements (rain, snow, dust and sand).
