Mexico. The Technological University of Nezahualcóyotl is one of the most important public institutions of higher education in the State of Mexico with an academic offer that has important careers such as Engineering in Intelligent Networks and Cybersecurity and Superior Technician in Aeronautical Maintenance, founded in 1995 and located in the second most populated municipality of that state.
Starting from a deep renovation planned for different spaces of the University, it was determined to equip the Auditorium with a 2.1 audio system, using two DML 500 speakers and an LS-212 subwoofer from Tectonic, while, for the Gym, a very large space, with no acoustic treatment and with a remarkable reverberation time, the design comprised 4 DML 500 speakers and the largest subwoofer in the brand's catalog, the LS-218 model.
Likewise, both the Auditorium and the Gymnasium were equipped with 4 channels of handheld wireless microphones, each, in the robust and reliable TG 500 series of beyerdynamic, with dynamic cardioid capsule TG V50, which, thanks to its great rejection of feedback, coupled with the little interaction of the DML 500 speakers with the physical spaces, The main feature of the curved wave technology, patent on which Tectonic bases its operation, it was possible to achieve the sound pressure desired by the operators of both spaces of the University, with few speakers, maximum intelligibility, and with an aesthetic design that ended up satisfactorily rounding the expectation of the users.
Thus, the combination of beyerdynamic and Tectonic obtained the desired results with a great cost / benefit ratio and with a hassle-free design to be integrated into the ambitious renovation of the spaces of the Technological University of Nezahualcóyotl.
