Mexico. In preparation for the next InfoComm Mexico 2020 technology fair, which will be held from August 19 to 21 at the WTC Mexico City, AVIXA launches its call for those who wish to participate as speakers within the Educational Program of the event.
Those interested will have until April 19 to apply for the topics of their presentations, which will be reviewed by a selection committee that will choose the most attractive. The presentations must be related to the use of technology for the integration of audiovisual experiences in market sectors or applications such as: smart home, collaboration spaces and corporate buildings, digital signage, live events, control centers or religious temples, among others.
Co-organized by AVIXA, InfoComm Mexico is the technological exhibition in which the freshest innovations in the industry of the integration of audiovisual experiences are presented, with applications that contemplate the use of audio, video, home automation, lighting, networks, voice and data in solutions for spaces as diverse as educational institutions, work centers, commercial stores, airports or residences. In addition to the exhibition of products, services and solutions, the academic offer of the event revolves around the aforementioned Educational Program that includes different thematic seminars and the AVIXA Vocational Training Program.
The educational program conferences are of great value to attendees, as they allow them to approach new ideas, trends, best practices and experiences shared by colleagues in their own industry and specialists from related disciplines such as architecture, advertising or education.
"Our industry requires much more professionalization. I am convinced that, if we grow in knowledge, there will be more opportunities for everyone, both people and companies," says sound engineer Michael "Mija" Krieg, who has collaborated as a presenter during the recent editions of InfoComm Mexico. "Adding is always positive, I have been sharing my experiences with colleagues in the industry and professionals from other areas for several years, and I am always excited by the moment when the eyes of the attendees light up as a sign that they have received a new knowledge that opens up new possibilities for them," shares "Mija" Krieg.
The scheme of seminars and educational conferences of InfoComm Mexico is the same that AVIXA promotes and coordinates in the rest of the InfoComm fairs that are held in different parts of the world. These activities are an essential part of the mission of AVIXA, the association that is a meeting point for professional collaboration, access to information and community building among members of the audiovisual experience integration industry.
The reception of proposals will be open until April 19, 2020 through an online registration available here.
