InfoComm Show opens registration for its face-to-face fair 2021

infocomm showLatin America. The InfoComm fair, in its original face-to-face version, will be held from October 23 to 29, 2021 at the Orange County Convention Center, in the city of Orlando, Florida. Registration for those interested in attending this event produced by AVIXA is officially open in www.infocommshow.org

"We are very excited to bring together the professional audiovisual industry at InfoComm 2021. There's nothing like the in-person experience of learning about new technologies, making new business connections, and meeting with industry colleagues we've known for a long time," said David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA. "Like many other industries, the professional AV sector has been affected in many ways by the pandemic: some negative, such as the pause of live events, others positive, such as the spectacular adoption of video communications. At the fair, we will explore the trends that emerged and are here to stay."

InfoComm 2021 will showcase the most important, fastest growing and most critical solutions and technologies in the AV world. Throughout the exhibition floor in exhibitor spaces and educational sessions, attendees will be able to explore the latest in solutions for conferences and collaboration; content, production and transmission; digital signage, learning, live events, audio and much more.

One of the most prominent solutions discussed during the pandemic was conferencing and collaboration, which is forecast to generate a global market of $43.5 billion in 2021 and reach $49.9 billion in 2026, according to AVIXA's most recent market intelligence data. InfoComm sessions will explore topics such as designing flexible collaboration spaces, clear audio for conferences, the right way to create hybrid workspaces, and the trend of Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) systems.

Digital signage is another AV solution that has been a priority during the pandemic. This solution has allowed companies to keep messages to their customers updated on health and safety procedures, in addition to the flow of people's traffic. To explore the world of digital signage, the fair will host the D=SIGN conference, in collaboration with the Digital Signage Federation (DSF), with two half-day programs on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 October. Sessions will explore trends in interactivity and touchscreens in a post-pandemic world, overcoming the barriers of connectivity using 4G/5G technologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning to trigger content changes and more.

InfoComm 2021 will also dive into the world of content production and streaming, a solution with a global market of $30 billion in 2021 and will reach $38.5 billion in 2026. Content, production and streaming media are the AV solution least affected by COVID-19. This is because organizations develop their digital content, such as producing videos to maintain the relationship with their customers and broadcasting virtual events. InfoComm sessions will examine topics such as adding remote guests to live streams, automatic speech recognition, and generating and deploying subtitles.

InfoComm will also explore AV solutions for learning, from the levels of basic education, higher education and corporate training environments to remote or on-campus learning. It's no secret that the way people learn has changed rapidly over the past year and a half, and the audiovisual industry has played a huge role in allowing educators and students to adapt to the new times. InfoComm sessions will cover the development of flexible institutional AV standards, automatic camera tracking for classrooms, and case studies like the New Jersey Institute of Technology that has transformed 100 classrooms into hybrid learning environments.

Live events were also significantly affected by the pandemic, for example, InfoComm's own fair. Face-to-face events were forced to adapt to virtual experiences. Fortunately, in-person events are starting to pick up and much has been learned from producing virtual events that will enhance future events. At InfoComm, educational sessions will explore topics such as creating events with virtual production and extended reality, creating content with generative media and game engines, as well as immersive audio for multisensory experiences.

At InfoComm, there will be multiple ways to learn about new products and trends in audio by visiting the show floor or entering the audio demo rooms and special sessions. From beamforming microphone solutions to licensed wireless microphone operations and new white space radio frequency (WSD) device standards, sessions will reveal the insights needed to deliver great audio experiences.

Between Wednesday and Friday, InfoComm attendees will be able to visit the Technology Innovation Stage (booth 1961) for detailed information on the latest technological advances and their applications. These free sessions will feature demonstrations and announcements of new products, the New Technology Lightning Rounds to highlight infoComm 2021's most compelling launches, a state-of-the-art industry presentation by AVIXA's market intelligence team, and much more.

InfoComm 2021 will have many opportunities to generate new contacts at events such as the Tech Managers Forum, the Independent Technical Services, Systems Integrators, and the Consultants Councils cocktail, the Young AV group meeting, the Women's Council breakfast, the Live Events Forum meeting, and the Diversity Council Networking event.
