Latin America. Christie launched the Griffyn 4K50-RGB all-in-one laser projector. With pure laser RGB technology and 98% of the Rec.2020 color space, the closest to the visual capacity of the human being, the new projector has been created to offer the public experiences of the highest level.
The new installment of the Griffyn Series has achieved a rich and brilliant chromaticism that is perfect for projection mapping, thematic entertainment and live events. If we add to that a lighting of maximum reliability with 25,000 hours guaranteed up to 50% brightness, we will conclude that the arrival of the Griffyn 4K50-RGB marks a milestone in 3DLP® projection.
Today, with its barely 89.3 kilos of weight and without the need for external refrigerators or laser racks, the Griffyn 4K50-RGB is the most compact and lightweight 50,000 lumen projector on the market. In addition, the full connectivity provided by Christie's TruLife+ integrated electronic solution eliminates the hassle of working with removable cards and reinforces the versatility of the projector, which also incorporates Christie's new ECC (Electronic Color Convergence), a solution that allows the user to easily and remotely adjust red, green and blue, one by one. The result is impeccable color alignment.
"Our new Christie Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projector will be tasked with illuminating Christie's booth at InfoComm with vibrant, vivid colors and that unmistakable chromaticism of pure laser RGB," said Joel St-Denis, Christie's director of product management. "At present there is no product in the professional audiovisual market that matches the projection technology of the Griffyn 4K50-RGB. We are very excited that the day will come to demonstrate it at the fair."
The Griffyn 4K50-RGB comes with Christie Twist for warping and blending, which is compatible with Christie Mystique, Christie's automated, camera-based alignment and recalibration solution for installing, aligning, calibrating and maintaining multi-projection systems with speed and agility, eliminating hours of tedious work.
In applications that require HFR (high frame rate), such as theme parks, the Griffyn 4K50-RGB has the capacity to reach 4K resolution at 120Hz and up to 480Hz with HD resolution.
The Christie Griffyn 4K50-RGB will be on the market in July 2022.
