Latin America. EDGE, formerly USAV, announced the hiring of Michael Boettcher as its president. Boettcher brings more than 20 years of audiovisual industry experience to the EDGE team, most recently serving as president of Global VC, the U.S. division of New Era Technology.

During Boettcher's tenure, New Era Technology was recognized as a Top 50 Systems Integrator by SCN, a CRN Top 100 Service Provider, included in CRN's Top 150 Fastest Growing list and an industry leader by Commercial Integrator. New Era also received AVIXA's APEx elite certification for industry excellence.
Boettcher previously served as NSCA president and has been on the board of directors since 2014. He also served as DAC president for USAV and is a member of AVIXA with a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) designation. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Villanova University and played baseball with the Wildcats.
He joins the EDGE team of seasoned industry veterans: Vice President Patrick Whipkey and Director of Business Development Cheryl Walton. EDGE now has more than 90 integrators that collectively generate more than $2 billion annually in gross revenue. With a presence of integrators in more than 40 countries and partnerships with 250 technology solution providers, EDGE's advantage is clear.
