United States. The audio system of the Rosebar Lounge, located in Washington, was updated with the speakers of the E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio series, devices that are the result of a collaboration between the E11EVEN group and DAS Audio.
The Rosebar Lounge is characterized by an environment decorated on its walls with vegetation where roses are protagonists, some chandeliers in specific places, reddish suggestive lights and furniture in the capitoné style. A set that radiates a seductive and elegant scene. That is why it was necessary to extend this attitude to the audio system.
That is why the speakers designed E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio were the chosen solution, since they are specifically designed to cover all the needs of the facilities of the nightclubs, with their variety and versatility of models.
Willy-Tech Services was the company in charge of making the integration of audiovisual systems, which together with DAS Audio combined experience to develop a sound reinforcement system capable of offering the atmosphere of high intensity, which makes the Rosebar Lounge a must-see destination in Washington.
Guillermo Rodríguez, engineer and owner of Willy-Tech Services, was in charge of the installation with the support of John Fiorito and Geovanni Ortiz of DAS Audio. He explained about the technical requirements:
"Rosebar Lounge has a 140 square meter ballroom/VIP area with capacity for about 200 people, and a 185 square meter heated outdoor terrace with a bar that can accommodate another 300 people. The venue hosts both live music and DJs. It was very important that the new sound system was able to deliver high-intensity sound and the E11EVEN Sound by DAS Audio configuration designed by John Fiorito achieves this."
Tailor-made solution
For the main hall, Fiorito selected four 2-way E11EVEN Sound ES-10 point source speakers. For the low frequencies, eight compact bass-reflex subwoofers E11EVEN Sound ES-212 were used.
In the DJ booth, the configuration includes two E11EVEN Sound ES-10 2-way point source speakers and an ESBR18 passive direct radiation subwoofer. Power amplification is provided by the E11EVEN Sound EP-14K2 2-channel amplifiers with 8800 watts per amplifier.
In this regard, Rodríguez commented: "The ES-212 subwoofers provide a warm and articulated glue. Boxes with double 12 inches are placed under the VIP seats throughout the interior room." He also stressed that these devices take up little space and are easily hidden, while having a powerful presence that makes people respond positively to their sound.
However, in the terrace area, which has a retractable roof, it includes eight compact 2-way ARTEC-312.96 full-range speakers, and five high-performance passive subwoofers E11EVEN Sound ESBR218. A combination that provides great coverage and excellent audio quality.
Finally, Rodríguez indicated that it had been a pleasure to work with the entire DAS Audio team, because they understand the complexities and logistics involved in high-end facilities, as well as engaging with their distributors to keep the project within the expected deadlines.
Oscar Guardado, owner and director of Rosebar Lounge, also shared his impressions of the system: "The new DAS Audio system is great. It sounds amazing and has made a huge impact on our customers. There is a new level of energy that permeates every corner of the venue and keeps our customers dancing and socializing more than ever."
