Argentina. For the Argentine company Soundtec, two sectors are moving projects in the country: corporate and government. For Alejandro Arena, its commercial manager, this situation is due to the fact that, in the corporate sector, many companies intend to take advantage of the advantages that the devaluation of the Argentine peso against the dollar offers, above all, to multinational companies that arm their budgets in dollars.
And on the side of the government, it is also demanding a growing number of projects, mainly because it is an election year and they still have projects to be completed.
He stressed that "Soundtec operates in the Argentine market, serving mainly the corporate, government, health, education, retail, religious and residential worship verticals and in most of these we have noticed a growth not only in the number of projects that were entrusted to us, also in the complexity of them, which denotes in a recognition by our clients in the ability to assume responsibility in the development and execution of projects that They require a high degree of knowledge and mastery of the technologies available in the market. However, many of them are delayed or postponed due to the shortages of some products in the manufacturers and the restrictions imposed on imports in our country."
On the trends in the industry, Alejandro Arena indicated that they are those related to the simplification of user tasks, such as those related to control and automation. And at InfoComm Show expect to see new products, new technologies and training. "The first and most important thing we hope to find is just people. InfoComm has become, at least for us, a business-oriented social event, where we have the possibility to meet with many suppliers, colleagues, and even some customers."
