Mexico. With the presentation of integral solutions -connectivity, cabling, AV solutions and data centers, among many others-, Panduit made the presentation of its Panduit Experience Center (PEC), located at its headquarters in the south of Mexico City, which has a showroom in which the most recent and innovative products of the company are shown.
"Here our customers will be able to see, feel, experience Panduit's solutions, across its four business units. That has helped us to grow significantly. We set ourselves a goal, to grow four times the level of the market. At the end of the pandemic, when the market was still recovering, we grew 28% when the market was growing by 6%. The following year we quadrupled the market growth again. And when the pandemic ended, we were already at pre-pandemic levels. We have gained market share, trying to be close to our customers, telling them what we do, try it, see it and see how we can help them, "said Carlos Arochi, director of Panduit Latin America.
He added: "We are one of the few companies that have solutions for everything. We are known in the copper and fiber cabling part, but we have solutions for data centers, for audio and video, as well as in the electrical part. And everything we're doing is so that our customers with a single manufacturer can get all the infrastructure, networking, electrical, audio and video part for the digital transformation of their companies. What we want is not to sell a product or a solution, we want to give value to our customers, so that they remain leaders."
It was mentioned that in addition to its headquarters in the United States and around the world, the company has, for Latin America, permanent offices in Mexico -Nuevo León, CDMX and soon Guadalajara-, Chile and Colombia.
For his part, Mauricio Escobar, Account Manager of Canal de Atlona – a Panduit company focused on AV – mentioned AVI Latin America: "Within the Guadalajara plant we are going to build an experience center. We have one in Colombia and one in Chile. The Latin American market is very interesting. There are more than 30 countries with six different languages, which, although the culture is similar, the adoption of technology is different. For example, Chile and Colombia are at the forefront of technology adoption. Both countries invest in the most robust solutions."
The executive added about the impact of the recent pandemic: "Panduit, as an infrastructure, is indispensable to give continuity to day to day. You have copper, fiber optics and there we are. The market contracted, but we did quite well. We were able to prevent the issue of manufacturing and inventories, that supported us to give continuity to the business, not only in pandemic, but also in post-pandemic. We have an aggressive market plan, we have more than 30 thousand patents; The company's goal is to be the point of contact for our integrators and customers and to have complete solutions. The company's goal is to have a more robust portfolio all at the same time."
At the inauguration of the showroom, in addition to Arochi and Escobar, Antonio Aguirre, director of the Central and Southern Zones of Mexico; Jorge Bleizeffer, director of the North and Bajio Zones; Alfredo Mazatán, director of the Electric Unit; and Juan Pablo Borray, Business Development Manager for Latin America at Panduit.
