Latin America. The Italian audio solutions manufacturer dBTechnologies, is the second company confirmed to participate in LiveTec, the new fair presented by AVI Latinoamérica and TVyVideo+Radio magazines, on technologies for live events and entertainment venues, which will be held in Miami on May 14 and 15.
Regarding his connection to the fair, Marco Breda, president of dBTechnologies USA, told AVI Latinoamérica that "This show is interesting because it brings together the United States from Florida with the Latin part. From a commercial point of view, Miami has historically been the gateway to the United States and Latin America. And I think this is an occasion for both markets to come together in one place."
For his part, Niccola Dres, vice president of sales for Latam at dBTechnologies, highlighted that "I think this fair can be a good success. The expectations are to receive audio people from Florida, also a lot from the islands of the Caribbean and Central America and in general from the region, because there are many connections from Miami with all of Latin America. I see very good expectations."
The executive also took stock of the market's performance in Latin America during the year that is ending. He pointed out that "Latin America is a very important market for us, we have noticed a very, very large growth, in the professional part, which for us are high-level products and also all retail products. I believe that after a period of the pandemic, the post-pandemic has resumed its rhythm. That's why we're very, very happy."
Regarding the company's most recent innovations, Niccola Dres highlighted that one of the strongest in terms of LineArray is the VIO L210, a double-inch, three-way box with a coaxial driver that has a lot of power and also covers a large frequency range and with clarity thanks to the components and technology. It is a very practical product because it is very compact, but with the power and sound presence of larger boxes.
