Latin America. A positive balance on the end of 2023 in Latin America for Sennheiser was given to AVI Latin America by Julio Bracho, brand director for the region. During NAMM Show 2024, he highlighted double-digit growth figures.
"For us, 2023 was, to be honest, an incredible year. We closed the growth and positioning in both business aspects, both the Pro Audio part and the Business Communications part. We grew Latin America in numbers, in the Pro Audio area we grew by almost 20% and in the Business Communications area by more than 30% in the year. I'm extremely happy and with very good forecasts for 2024."
The company's involvement in NAMM was a twist on what they traditionally do. This year they had two demo rooms, one oriented to pro audio solutions on the Sennheiser side, and one 100% in Neumann with an immersive audio set-up with Neumann monitors.
"The concept this year of the booth was to demonstrate and let people know that they no longer see us only as a brand that is Sennheiser, but that this year we are the Sennheiser group, which is made up of obviously our leading brand, our sister brand Neuman and the recent acquisitions of Dear Reality and Merging Technologies. With these four brands, we complement each other to offer the best audio solutions in the industry," said Julio Bracho.
In terms of technology, one of the novelties is the HD 490 Pro headphone, which seeks to position itself as a reference headset for music mixing and production, as well as the relaunch of the line of digital wireless, the EWDX with Dante.
He also commented that at the ISE fair in Barcelona, the company will be focused on solutions for the Business Communication market, the Team Connect family, including the new TC Bar, a Dante bar with audio and video, which comes in two sizes, medium and small, for rooms of those sizes. It is the first video integrated product in Sennheiser's history.
