Mexico. Christie deployed its Inspire Series 1DLP laser projectors in 100 Sam's Club stores, owned by Walmart, in Mexico, which is part of the chain's digital transformation process to offer added value to the shopping experience of its customers.
The installation is part of the DUBAI (Digital Unit for Better Activation in Club) project, a plan to digitize the retailer's advertising spaces through the implementation of different digital media in each of its 100 establishments in the United Mexican States. These digital media include LED devices such as totems, screens and posters, as well as a circuit of displays and projectors on the floor.
The conception and development of the entire project was entrusted to the agency FGL Asociados. "With these new digital supports in the chain's stores, brands can communicate their messages in an omnichannel way, boost their sales and give added value to the customers' purchase journey," explained Francisco González Legorreta of FGL Asociados.
FGL Associates selected Christie DWU760A-iS projectors that provide 7175 lumens and WUXGA resolution in a low-maintenance package. One hundred units of this model were deployed in the same number of Sams Club stores in different parts of Mexico.
The integration of the projectors was carried out by Convergint Mexico after a rigorous selection process in which Christie's laser models emerged as the customer's preferred projection system.
In each of Sam's Club's 100 stores in Mexico, the Christie Inspire projector has been hung from the ceiling, projecting dynamic advertisements and attractive visual content on the floor. This projection helps brands to promote themselves, connecting with customers in a dynamic way and can also be used to guide shoppers to special offers or specific sections of the establishments.
"The Christie Inspire projector was chosen for this project because of its impressive combination of high performance and low maintenance at a contained price," explained Francisco González Legorreta. "I would highlight its quiet operation and omnidirectional installation capabilities that make it easy to integrate into any configuration, in addition to its laser illumination that offers up to 20,000 hours of reliable operation," he added.
Christie Inspire projectors are proving to be a fundamental tool for this digital transformation project. "Its ability to project crisp and vibrant images from ceiling to floor allows it to uniquely capture customers' attention. In addition, its flexibility and durability ensure optimal operation in the dynamic environment of stores. Not to mention its high level of luminosity, which is crucial in an environment with as much ambient light as retail. These projectors ensure that advertisements and visual content are clearly visible and eye-catching, even in well-lit areas," he concluded.
Christie's Inspire Series is a family of fixed-lens 1DLP laser projectors that offers users WUXGA or 4K UHD resolution, 24/7 operation, dust-resistant IP5X optical engine and quiet operation. With a brightness ranging from 7,150 to 9,600 lumens, the Inspire series provides up to 20,000 hours of reliable, virtually maintenance-free operation.
