This church, located in Irvine, California, required renovation in some of its areas, especially video capture and projection, which was modernized to expand the global capacity of the institution's weekly services, as well as providing opportunities to create special events.
Vaddio's system (WallVIEW PRO 300) captures live images using two wall-mounted PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras, Sony BRC-300. Daniel Bae, president of Platt Design, explains that an adapter handles the power, video signal and remote control, all through three CAT 5 cables. "One camera is mounted in the center of the back wall to capture the stage area, while the other is located to the right of the stage, capturing the audience," he adds.
The pan /tilt/zoom remote, the RM-BR300 joystick, is located at the front of the church along with the Roland V-440HD video mixer. All control of the cameras and program switching is done with a single operator managing the content of the toggle between graphics/text broadcast and live action, IMAG. (Photo: Platt Designs)
