Ken Erdmann, president of Cedia, explained that the event would return to this city at the request of its members and exibidores, for whom Indianapolis is a profitable city, in addition to adapting to the needs of attendees and members around the world. "The expansion of the Indiana Convention Center and the new hotels make it the perfect place to once again host Cedia Expo," he said.
The Indiana Convention Center has, after its remodeling, 250,000 square meters of exhibition, meeting rooms and a new hotel establishment, the Marriott Plaza Hotel, with more than 1,300 rooms.
"Indianapolis was a growth city for Cedia Expo in the beginning," said Utz Baldwin, CEO of the Association. "In light of the recent economic conjuncture, this is the right time for us to return to our roots and provide members with a hospitable city that they are familiar with and that provides an accessible and affordable atmosphere for the event."
