The first class of these wireless devices, MusicLites, which mixes audio and limunication, provides high luminosity technology and audio fidelity for the commercial and consumer market.
This lighting and audio concept was invented and patented in 1999 by Cary Christie, president and CEO of Artison.
"We are very excited to deliver the latest lighting and sound technology to users, which is achieved through the partnership with Artison," said Rick Leaman, president and CEO of Osram Sylvania.
Christie also commented that MusicLites has been the most innovative product he has developed in the 40 years he has been in the consumer electronic equipment industry. "The synergy of both companies and the joint work give me great satisfaction, as well as seeing that the product is today a reality," he emphasized.
MusicLites combines the efficiency of 10-watt LED illumination with a 70-millimeter hi-fi speaker, as well as a wireless audio receiver in a module that is compatible with any audio source.
