Chile. In order to find new solutions for customers in terms of technology, Sheraton Santiago Hotel selected the company SAV Apoyo Audiovisual as a new in-house supplier for the remodeling of the convention center rooms. The company was chosen after competing in a tender with seven other companies in the sector.
In house is an automated AV system in which conference rooms will be interconnected and centralized on a digital platform. For lighting, LED technology will be used and both systems will be controlled from an Ipad, an Iphone or Smartphone. The initial investment will be US$700,000.
As reported to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA, Hernán Godoy Flores, commercial manager of SAV, all the salons will have the Bose Pro audio system, and the Sheraton will be the first convention center in the country with this technology. In projection, Epson will make the implementation of interactive screens of 3x4 or 5x4 meters; and the automation will be handled by a large wi-fi circuit using L-force control equipment.
"For us the hotel is an icon within the convention centers of Santiago and we are very proud to participate in the project despite not having as much experience as the other bidders. This is an immense achievement and we are putting the forces so that the project begins to be replicated in the country," the official added.
