Mexico. With the introduction to this country of its line of LED luminaires, the sharp company expects to achieve significant growth during 2012 in this market. In fact, according to statements by the company's representatives, its expectation is to generate an improvement of between 17 and 18%.
The new line that the company will distribute in Mexico includes products for outdoor lighting in models of 87, 154 and 67 watts. In addition, they expect to continue increasing market share among their main buyers which are companies in the aerospace, automotive, medical products and electronics industries.
In addition to the above, Héctor Gómez Gutierrez, director of the firm, declared, in front of his sales forecasts, to the local media El Economista that "the expectation for this year is to make 20% of conversions with LED luminaires".
He added that "in general we have very good expectations for this year. Not precisely in customer growth, because our strategy is to be selective with them, we are looking for solid companies, with a positive credit behavior and a clean file".
