Mexico. The North American company Powervar began to take its first steps in the Latin American market with the opening of its first office in America outside the United States, located in Mexico City.
According to the company's directives in North America, they decided to reach the Latin market directly and not through a distributor, so Powervar Mexico will be responsible for all sales, service and storage activities.
To be in charge of the new office in the region, Powervar appointed Héctor Castillo as country manager. The company highlights that he is a veteran in the industry with more than 30 years of experience.
In addition, he informed that the plans with this office in Mexico City are parallel to the strategy to expand its global presence and constitute a long-term investment.
In this regard, the president and vice president of Sales of Powervar, Tom Gornick, said that "we have great expectations for the success of our new operation in Mexico. Our strategic approach is to place sales and support facilities, where our OEM partners conduct business, just as we have done in other regions of the world."
The executive added that his company is prepared to meet the growing demands and global expansion of its business partners and that is why it seeks to be as close to them as possible.
