International. A new subsidiary in Switzerland is now held by the company Sennheiser, following the acquisition of Bleuel Electronic AG. This is a strategic business for the German company, which will allow it to position itself in Europe.
The purchase had been closed in September 2012, but until now it was announced after the officialization of the name change, being renamed under the brand name Sennheiser (Schweiz) AG.
"Establishing our own sales subsidiary in Switzerland is the logical step within the customer relationship program we have worked on over many years and is an important step in consolidating our presence in the European market," said Volker Bartels, President of Corporate Services and Spokesperson for the Executive Board of Directors at Sennheiser.
For the entry into operation of the new company under the Sennheiser brand, Marc Staubli, President of Marketing and Sales, and Björn Grefer, President of Finance and Operations, took over.
The new team is made up of specialists with extensive training in all areas of the audio business ." This means they have knowledge in consumer and professional audio technology, they have the necessary skills to meet the demands of our entire target audience," said Marc Staubli.
The act of officialization of the new entity, attended by 250 guests, an event that featured special presentations by German artists.
