Latin America. Symetrix, the leading manufacturer of professional audio DSP solutions, announced the appointment of PRO AVLS as a sales representative for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and with offices on Margarita Island, Venezuela, PRO AVLS will use its more than 20 years of experience to lead sales of Symetrix products, including Jupiter, the fixed architecture independent DSPs line, and SymNet, the Dante range of open architecture scalable DSPs.
"As Symetrix continues to grow globally, one of the next steps in this expansion was the addition of a dedicated sales and technical support resource for Latin America," said Mark Ullrich, symetrix's director of international sales.
For PRO AVLS, which is a well-established representative working with brands such as DiGiCo and Martin Audio, this agreement allows customers access to a unique product range throughout Latin America. "There is a great need for versatile DSP platforms in the region. Although there are many players in the market, we were looking to partner with a manufacturer that would offer our customers an advantage over their competitors in terms of usability, compatibility, audio quality, reliability and price," said Guillermo Sánchez, sales director of PRO AVLS.
PRO AVLS President Alex Rojas also shared the enthusiasm with the new partnership. "As we work together with market-leading DSP solutions, our customers, prospects and friends will see the benefits of Symetrix products and the advantages PRO AVLS brings to their tools. We are very proud to represent a brand with so much tradition and so respected in the audio industry," he says.
With this new appointment, Symetrix hopes to be able to focus more and have more support in its existing distribution agreements in the region. "We are also looking forward to adding new strategic alliances to ensure that Symetrix has the most competitive positioning possible in Latin America," concluded Ullrich.
