International. Spanish singer-songwriter Pablo Alborán toured his country recently under a panel cover Elation Cuepix, in what was undoubtedly the biggest tour in Spain this year, his "Terral" tour.
One of the largest AV rental and live event production companies in Spain, Fluge Audiovisuales (www.fluge.es), supplied the Cuepix panels for the Spanish leg of the tour, which began in May and visited large stadiums and outdoor venues in all major cities, ending in October.
Twelve Cuepix panels were used through four different lattice lines on stage (3 Cuepix panels per armor). The four lattices had adjustable Kinesys chain lifting motors, which allowed to change their position (height and angle) at different stages of the series.
The company Fluge, which operates branches throughout Spain, as well as in Panama City and Shanghai, supplied all the lighting, audio and video equipment for the tour and also provided the necessary equipment to run each concert smoothly.
"When I initially saw the lighting design intended for the tour, I frankly thought that the Cuepix panels would be more of a 'filler' than a lighting element," said the project's technical manager, Dani Sanchez. "But once I got to see them in action, they were an integral and important element of both the lighting and the design of the tour."
