Mexico. During the 2016 version of Expo Sound Check, which was held this week at the World Trade Center in Mexico City, Bose presented its portable amplification solutions, the L1 lines, which has been on the market for four years and the F1, launched last year as an evolution of the first and with greater capacity.
Alejandro Peralta, engineer for Latam of the company, explained to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that these systems in which the company is concentrating, are characterized mainly by the flexibility to a large number of applications and the ease that the end user has to use it in different applications, which has allowed them to have a very good acceptance in the Latin American market.
The F1 Model 812 is the first portable self-amplified loudspeaker that allows the user to optimize the sound according to the conditions of the enclosure, as it offers the possibility of choosing up to four different vertical sound dispersion patterns.
It offers exceptional power and clarity, with great versatility for a wide range of applications and enclosures, easy configuration, attractive design of aesthetic lines, as well as robust durability. The Bose F1 is an ideal choice for live music sound, DJ performances, corporate events, conferences or religious celebrations. It is also very attractive for audiovisual equipment rental companies and to meet the needs of sound in small and medium-sized venues such as schools, museums, temples, cultural forums and halls, among others.
The design of the F1 system allows you to select the sound coverage pattern to place it at ground level, on the stage or focus it towards the stands or upper seats. To control the vertical coverage pattern, simply manually "push or pull" the speaker array to create the four scattering patterns: "Straight" (tighter vertical control, for ground-level audience coverage), "J" (adjust bottom vertical coverage, vertical splay, when the P.A. is placed on stage), "C" (adjust the upper and lower vertical coverage to cover an extended stand both above and below a stage), or "Inverted J" (adjust the upper vertical coverage, e.g. for an elevated grandstand).
For its part, the L1 Compact system integrates PA speakers and conventional monitors into a single and elegant unit. Whether it is located behind or next to the artist, DJ or presenter, it offers a wide and uniform sound coverage throughout the stage and the room, even at the ends. The Bose L1 is small, light (about 13 kilos) and very easy to install.
Distribute sound clearly and evenly throughout the room thanks to Bose's Spatial Dispersion technology. The peculiar vertical shape of the speaker not only significantly differentiates it from conventional PA speakers, but has a very positive effect on acoustic coverage. Even people in the audience and group members at the ends can hear the same clear, balanced sound that those in front perceive.
The speaker assembly of the L1 Compact system is smaller than that of the L1 Model I and Model II systems, but provides comparable horizontal acoustic coverage. The L1 Model I and Model II speakers project sound farther with less volume loss than the L1 Compact set.
