Latin America. Atlona has announced that it is now possible to download for free from Atlona.com the Atlona Management System (AT-SW-AMS), a powerful software to manage Atlona's IP controllable products aimed at the commercial, educational, public and domestic sectors.
The AMS, which streamlines the configuration, handling and maintenance of Atlona devices, also has a positive impact on the efficiency of both installation and technical support, including remote support. In its initial version, the AMS is compatible with five Atlona 4K/UHD products:
- AT-UHD-SW-52: 5-port input HDMI switch with duplicate HDMI outputs;
- AT-UHD-SW-52ED: 5-port input HDMI switch with duplicate HDMI and HDBaseT outputs and PoE (Power via Ethernet);
- AT-UHD-CLSO-601: 6-port input multi-format switch with duplicate HDMI and HDBaseT outputs and automatic switching;
- AT-UHD-CLSO-612: 6-port input multi-format switch with HDBaseT inputs, duplicate HDMI and HDBaseT outputs, and automatic switching;
- AT-UHD-PRO3-66M: HDMI to HDBaseT, 4K/UHD and dual distance matrix switch with PoE (power via Ethernet).
"The Atlona Management System offers integrators an advanced device configuration management system that simultaneously minimizes installation time and on-site personnel," said David Shamir, Director of Product Management at Atlona. "This translates directly into considerable cost savings and the possibility for our partners to be more competitive and get more business without affecting their profitability"
The software has an intuitive interface and many options to help the integrator, such as the ability to automatically detect Atlona devices, retrieve and save a copy of current configurations, copy the configuration from one Atlona device to another and perform firmware updates without the need for a technician to travel to your facilities. The AMS also monitors the status of the devices and presents the data on a screen that looks similar to a control panel.
Ideal for multi-device audio-visual installations, the AMS is also expandable, supporting systems of any size. Remote management functions allow audiovisual technicians to manage, manage and perform maintenance operations of audiovisual equipment both locally (LAN) and remotely (WAN), uninterrupted from Monday to Sunday, and using simply a normal Internet browser.
Upcoming AMS updates will expand supported devices, including the UHD-CLSO-824 4K/UHD 8×2 multi-format matrix switch, the UHD-M2C-BAL two-channel balanced analog digital sound converter, and the UHD-H2H series 4K/UHD HDMI-to-HDMI matrix switches.
