Latin America. Christie introduced the CP4325-RGB, a pure laser projector for cinema that brings the premium experience to large commercial theaters. Equipped with CineLife electronics and RealLaser lighting, the new compact all-in-one projector compatible with DCI standards stands out for its image quality and long operating life, while maintaining a low cost of ownership. The incredible color palette of the CP4325-RGB and the images rich in detail and realism that it projects will undoubtedly seduce the general audience of the cinemas.
"With its innovative next-generation, all-in-one and direct-coupled RGB lighting system, the Christie CP4235-RGB is the most advanced laser projector on the market," said Allan Fernandes, Senior Director of Product Management, Global Cinema, Christie.
Conceived and developed from feedback gathered from recent factory tours and in demos and samples made for companies in Christie's global customer base, the CP4325-RGB is set to be a successful addition to the cinema value chain. Both exhibitors and post-production studios are eager to put the potential of the new projector to full operation.
Reliability today, innovation tomorrow
Using next-generation pure RGB laser devices, Christie's advanced research and development teams have been able to eliminate the need for external cooling, thereby drastically reducing system complexity and cost and ensuring an impressive, and enormously reliable operating life of more than 30,000 hours, with a loss of just 20% over that period.
The CP4325-RGB also offers a contrast ratio of up to 6000:1, better uniformity and a substantially larger chromatic spectrum than other projection systems, to which must be added the compact form factor of the projector, which makes it very easy to integrate into standard projection booths.
Like the Christie CP42LH, its sister fiber coupling projector, the Christie CP4325-RGB offers a color spectrum that exceeds DCI P3 standards, enhanced contrast ratios and HFR (high frame rate) compatibility. The CP4325-RGB incorporates Christie's CineLife Series 3 electronics and cinematic automation to streamline playback, programming and content management. Field tested since 2014 on more than a hundred screens with the next generation of Christie IMB-S3, the CineLife Series 3 electronics are also retroactively compatible with pre-existing IMB Series 2 architectures.
