Mexico. The representative of brands such as Strong, LynTec and Ushio, among other firms, Oso Colmenero, focuses its market strategy on offering its customers in Mexico and Latin America cutting-edge technological options with significant savings in electricity.
Jerry Colmenero, president of Oso Colmenero, said during Expo Lighting America, ELA, 2018: "We offer products that everyone wants to save energy, which is usually LED, but we are offering the highest technology to also control energy. We also offer solutions for solar energy and its management."
He stated during the participation in the exhibition in Mexico City that his most important product is installed in the Cathedral of the Mexican capital, in the Zocalo, because they are controlling the automation for the power system of the Cathedral but also its administration, because it is LED, but they can still offer 10% or 20% more energy savings. "
Colmenero described, "The most famous new product we have is the facility we're putting up in Niagara Falls, which consumes 15% of the power, of something that gives the same amount of light, so it's a very new technology that's 85% more efficient for that show."
He affirmed that products of these brands already operate with total efficiency in Mexican facilities. "We operate in many hotels in Cancun. We want to continue to maintain the offer of the highest technology. When we are contacted by design studios or architectural firms they ask us: 'What is the best that exists?, what is the newest?'; our goal is to keep telling them, 'yes, we have it and we can do it.'"
