InfoComm. HDMI video distributed over coaxial cable is a more relevant challenge today than the industry imagines. Many people desperately need a simple, scalable solution that doesn't create an aesthetic or dangerous mess of tangled wires.
Pro Video Instruments, PVI, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art digital video distribution systems, will showcase the VeCOAX MiniMod-2, a solution that addresses this problem with a strong emphasis on scalability.
"There are other solutions, but none that give users the control and scalability needed for more complex applications. By using a simple splitter connected to a VeCOAX MiniMod-2, users can bring their HDMI signal to full 1080p quality to an unlimited number of TVs. That's scalability," said Sarah Carli of PVI.
The MiniMod-2, as it's known in the industry, will be on display at the 2018 Infocomm show in Las Vegas, booth C4424 in Central Hall. For professionals looking for a commercial application, PVI will also be showcasing VeCOAX Rack 4.
Another of the company's novelties at the fair will be its new generation of VuMATRIX extender kits, with a great reception in the industry. The VuMATRIX 4K-60-POE-Kit is an extensible and simple solution, as well as affordable. More importantly, it allows users to distribute Full-4K 60 video by simply connecting up to 99 transmitters to an unlimited number of receivers.
PVI has also developed an easy way to control transmitters and receivers with its new VuMATRIX SMART CONTROL, which allows automatic discovery and control of the names of each device in the VuMatrix network. The entire network can be controlled from the free VuMATRIX app available for iOS and Android.
