Latin America. A research and writing work during the last two years by the sound engineer Julián Zafra, resulted in the book Sound Engineering, concepts, fundamentals and practical cases, with topics of competence for America and Spain.
Julián Zafra told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that in the publication there are aspects such as sound theory, recording studio, equipment in recording studio, live sound, equipment involved in a recording, professional audio systems, among others.
"This book started spontaneously and without a commercialization scope. Rather like the idea of writing a book in Spanish with an all-Anglo-Saxon style content, with information and exclusive interviews with other leading professionals in the professional audio sector around the world. As a result of the agendas and volume that these are acquiring, it is when I already decide their structuring and selection for publication in commercial areas. The idea was to make a book without becoming too dense in the different aspects of the professional audio sector, "he said.
The publication is intended for both the professional and the amateur, musician or anyone who likes the world of audio and can read a "digestible" book without falling into too dense matter as it happens with other publications as specific, such as the world of sound engineering.

- Maor Appleboum, one of the most respected mastering engineers in the profession.
- Gordon Raphael: music producer who has done work for artists such as The Strokes, Regina Spektor or The singer Skin the of the Band Skunk Anansie
