Latin America. The Bose S1 Pro portable multi-position speaker, the equipment that can be used as a floor monitor, amplifier for rehearsals and main audio PA system, has had a major update and has a new line of accessories, including a pre-installed rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
This system is compatible with the Bose Connect application, through which audio can be sent via Bluetooth to two S1 Pro units simultaneously. On the other hand, it is also announced the upcoming availability of two new accessories that will provide more mobility and transport options for the user, it is the S1 Pro Backpack (travel backpack) and the S1 Slip Cover (protective case).
Music by the hour
The rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, which will now come pre-installed in the equipment, allows users to use their S1 Pro without connecting it to the electric current for up to 11 continuous hours. The Quick Charge function gives the option to recharge the battery of the S1 Pro in a short period of time (when using the equipment in standard mode and connecting it to the current, it is charged at a normal rate). Additional batteries can be purchased separately for those looking for a backup or a longer period of autonomy.
Ready to travel
The rugged travel backpack, S1 Pro Backpac, was designed to comfortably carry the S1 Pro, freeing the user's hands to make it easier to load musical instruments or more equipment in one transfer. Three closed compartments make it easy to store cables and other attachments, while adjustable shoulder straps, foam rubber rear panel and handy handles allow users to take their S1 Pro system with them wherever they travel.
Subtle, but resistant
The S1 Slip Cover protective case aims precisely to keep the equipment in optimal condition, especially when carried from one place to another. This adjustable cover is easily placed over the S1 Pro and protects it from bumps, carvings or scrapes when transporting it, storing it in the trunk of a car, placing it on stage or lifting it into the luggage compartment on an airplane. Made of sturdy nylon, the case features the embroidered Bose logo on the front and an opening at the top for easy access to the S1 Pro's carrying handle.
The compact, multi-position PA system, Bose S1 Pro, is available through Bose Professional department stores, specialty stores and authorized distributors nationwide, for a price of $14,400.00 MXN. The accessories will be available to the public during the first half of September 2018.
