International. Software that will allow users to locate, book and connect to video conferencing rooms and set up high-definition video calls with people located anywhere in the world, was presented by Sabre Travel Network and Polycom.
The so-called Sabre Virtual Meetings will make it easier for travel buyers to check the availability in real time of conference rooms, check rates, functionalities and organize meetings around the world, with a system similar to that of reservations in travel agencies.
What's more, when the system starts to be marketed during the first half of next year, it will be able to integrate with applications used in travel agencies to book videoconferencing rooms at the same time as air travel or hotels.
Greg Webb, president of Sabre Travel Network, said, "By making telepresence meetings so simple, we help companies and their employees build a closer relationship with customers, improve their internal collaboration and increase their productivity."
For companies that have videoconferencing rooms they own, Sabre Virtual Meetings will allow them to manage them more efficiently, whether for internal use, customers, partners or free access to the public.
