International. As always happens with technology equipment, when they begin to become widespread among consumers, manufacturers present their replacement. And this especially represents what's currently happening with TVs.
While the market begins to strengthen the sale of full HD TVs, at the last CES fair in Las Vegas the first Ultra HD TVs were known, also known as 4K, these TVs are equivalent to a resolution four times higher than full HD, that is, 3480 x 2160 pixels.
But these televisions not only stood out for their resolution, because the size was also highlighted. The manufacturer LG presented an 84-inch smart TV, which even won one of the awards given by the organizers of the fair. Another manufacturer that stood out for the size of its TVs was Samsung, which presented a 110-inch equipment.
Apart from the 4K or Ultra HD televisions, others that stole the eyes were the curved 4K televisions that the same manufacturers presented based on oled technology, 55 inches, allowing with this form a panoramic visualization and an immersion in the image.
But it is not only about televisions, some broadcast companies are also beginning to test their productions and transmissions under this technology. This is the case of the French Eutelsat Communications, satellite TV provider, which made the first live broadcast under Ultra HD resolution (4K) at 3840 x 2160 pixels and 50 frames per second, which was delivered by satellite for the few users who have paid for one of those televisions.
