Mexico. Lutron Electronics and window decoration supplier Coulisse, teamed up to launch a new collection of automated curtains, based on the design and technological innovations for curtain automation, including more than 700 types of haute couture fabrics and materials for different types of curtains and blinds such as Venetian, cellular and roller.
Alejandra Leon Sariñana, Senior Marketing Representative for Latin America at Lutron Electronics, explained that "the Lutron Coulisse automated curtain collection combines functional, technological and innovative aspects for the control of sunlight, with a unique design and style, adaptable to any space, expanding the decorative possibilities of interior designers and architects".
The new fabrics and materials of the collection include wood, leather, metallic colors and various fabrics that will allow you to experience different textures to filter sunlight, create atmospheres and fill any room with color.
Among its features are that they are the world's first silent, precise and automated curtains based on common alkaline batteries size "D" and integrates Triathlon technology, which uses an efficient hybrid propulsion design and backup energy that prolongs the life of the battery from three to five years.
The energy savings of Lutron curtains and blinds allow effective control of natural light and reduce heat absorption from the sun or heat loss during the winter, helping to reduce cooling and heating costs.
Both companies reported that the collection will be available to Latin American interior designers and architects through Lutron's dealer network in mid-2013.
