International. Extron introduced Extron Control, the new app that gives users full access to any Extron control system, right from their iPad. After a quick initial setup, the iPad connects to the desired room, allowing for a highly responsive control experience.
The application automatically loads the user interfaces present in any Extron control product without a lengthy configuration and customization process. Familiar interfaces emulate the touchscreen of TouchLink or MediaLink controllers in your room, all button presses are kept in sync between the app and Extron control devices.
Other features include the ability to quickly add rooms, switch between rooms, and automatic reconnection.
Extron Control is available for download from the iTunes App Store. Existing users of the App will automatically receive Extron TouchLink control when they catch up. It is also compatible with projects created in Extron Global Configurator 3.5 or Global Configurator Plus and Professional.
