International. The introduction of the ultra-short range 4K projector (LSPX-W1S) is the embodiment of Sony's Life Space UX concept and the first step in making this vision a reality, offering a new user experience that transforms home spaces into environments of enriched experiences.
If installed at the foot of a wall, the projector can transmit a 147" image with an ultra-high definition 4K resolution, allowing you to watch movies and sporting events on a large scale. The projector, which recently received the Red Dot Award ("Best of the Best" in the 2015 product design category) and a 2015 iF Design Award, turns unused spaces into wall-sized canvases and transforms home spaces into environments of progress.
The projector uses a laser light source to create an image with amazing brightness and greater color accuracy. The laser light source reaches peak brightness faster than conventional projector lamps, and lasts up to ten times longer. It has an elegant design according to the furniture that maintains harmony with the existing space.
The speakers allow cables to be hidden, and the housing units have space to house other household electronic devices and maintain order. When disabled, its comprehensive design gives it the look of an elegant piece of furniture.
The projector is easy to install and operate and, thanks to its unique projection function from the bottom of a wall, does not require the creation of any specific installation, unlike previous conventional projectors. Viewers also won't have to worry about not interrupting the projected image with their shadows.
