Latin America. InfoComm International will hold a virtual seminar next Wednesday, September 2, in which it will deliver a brief description of the advantages of networked digital audio environments over traditional analog methods.
The presentation focuses on the Dante network audio protocol developed by Audinate. Traditionally, the integration of digital audio products from multiple manufacturers is problematic and frustrating, and is often limited by the exclusive application of the features and functions of different creators.
Oriol Galofré, Regional Manager, Latin America and the Caribbean for Bose Corporation, will present the specific advantages of Dante's inherent cross-platform, as well as the advantages of incorporating digital audio into larger networks not dedicated to AV use. It will also make a description of the basic system structure and configuration using products with Dante's Controller software.
Born in Barcelona, Spain, Oriol has over 30 years of experience in the professional audio industry. He began his career as a sound engineer in a recording and live sound studio, going through the management of a sound and lighting rental company where he assumed responsibility for the executive production of tours of well-known artists and the technical direction of large festivals with multiple stages and mass control requirements.
As an audio consultant and field engineer, Oriol has extensive knowledge in the design of large sound systems. Self-taught and passionate about the effect of sound on human behavior, he enjoys transferring the knowledge acquired during his career.
The webinar will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Santiago, Chile. For more information and to register, click here.
