Latin America. Shure announced that Motiv digital products, a new line of microphones designed for those looking to capture high-quality audio for vocal/acoustic recording, podcasts, YouTube videos, field recordings and more, are now on sale.
The easy-to-use Motiv products include four new Apple MFi Certified devices (made for iPhone, iPod, iPad), including three condenser microphones and a sleek digital audio interface that can be connected directly to any iOS device without the need for additional adapters or connection kits. In addition, the MVL, an omnidirectional lapel condenser microphone, is also part of the MOTIV family.
Shure Motiv digital microphones and digital interface contain selectable DSP preset modes to ensure excellent sound, regardless of the application. Designed to help digital recording users looking for better audio quality, MOTIV's predefined modes—speech, singing, flat, acoustic instrument, and alto—adjust audio parameters internally.
By using the predefined modes to specify what is being recorded, some models automatically change the audio processing by adjusting the gain, equalization and compression to always achieve the best recordings.
