Latin America. Bose reported on the update of the Panaray 802 and Panaray 402 sound reinforcement speakers, which from now on will be known as the Panaray Series IV models. The Panaray family consists of small format speakers for installations that require wide coverage and an average sound pressure level (SPL).
They are used in small and medium-sized enclosures such as religious temples, auditoriums, gyms, restaurants, hotels, schools and theme parks, both indoors and outdoors.
Since their appearance 25 years ago, the Panaray 802 and 402 speakers have achieved enormous fame among integrators, design consultants and installers of audiovisual systems. The revamped Panaray IV Series models continue this tradition, retaining features and delivering the same performance as their predecessors.
The two models of this new series have been updated with new installation options to facilitate and make their mounting options even more flexible. These modifications make them ideal for installation applications in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
All installed sound reinforcement speakers from the Bose Professional Panaray line feature full-range transducer arrays, eliminating the need for tweeters and crossovers for unsurpassed reliability and natural voice clarity. In addition, the number of speakers required for many types of installations can be reduced thanks to the Bose Articulated Array™ design, in which transducers are precisely placed, at certain angles, to provide a wider and more balanced coverage.
The renewed Panaray Series IV
The small, lightweight Panaray 802 Series IV speaker features an Articulated Array design with an amplitude of 120°V x 100°H, while the 52Hz low-frequency response eliminates the need for subwoofers, making it a cost-effective solution for many indoor and outdoor installation sound reinforcement applications. This model incorporates new side threaded inserts and an optional "U" shaped bracket to make installation simple, fast and inexpensive. The Panaray 802 Series IV is presented in black finish, with dimensions of 338 x 520 x 335 mm and weight of 13.6 kg.
The Panaray 402 Series IV speaker is smaller and features the Bose Articulated Array design with an amplitude of 120°V x 60°H, while the 73 Hz low-frequency response covers the full vocal range to provide an even more cost-effective installed sound reinforcement solution. It integrates new industry-standard mounted rear threaded inserts to support optional vertical and horizontal rotation brackets to increase the flexibility of indoor or outdoor installation. The Panaray 402 Series IV is available in black or white colours, with dimensions of 592 x 206 x 202 mm and weight of 7.3 kg.
The other models in the Bose Panaray speaker line, such as the Panaray 502A, Panaray MA12 and Panaray MA12EX, remain unchanged.
The Panaray 802 Series IV speaker is now available through Bose Professional distributors and integrators in Mexico and Latin America, while the Panaray 402 Series IV will launch in early 2016.
