Proficient's Protege speaker series now combines innovative features with a new design to meet the demands of the latest immersive audio formats.
The Protege series features seven passive speakers: a Dolby Atmos-certified ightight speaker, a dual woofer standing speaker, two bookshelf speakers, a three-channel soundbar, and two LCR speakers. Each speaker in the Protege Cabinet series combines composite graphite cone woofers with silk dome tweeters.
The image shows the Dolby Atmos ProtegeLDA5 height speaker that offers surround sound by directing it upwards so that it is reflected in the ceiling. This speaker offers a frequency response from 120Hz to 20kHz with 60 watts of power and a sensitivity of 84dB 2.83V/1m.
