The SF 10C SUB is a ceiling-mounted subwoofer that complements Extron's line of hanging and ceiling speakers by extending low-frequency response to support high-performance music and audio applications, with a design that avoids the problems associated with this type of equipment on the ceiling.
This mounting design, suspended by cable, completely isolates the subwoofer to install it, and while preventing the transfer of low-power energy to the grid structure of false ceilings.
With a 10-inch controller with 800 watts of continuous program power handling capability, the SF 10C SUB, with its 4th order bandpass design and composite rigid housing, works with ceiling speakers to improve the system's bass response, extending the low frequency range up to 25 Hz.
The UL 2043 rating allows for a discreet location in the plenary space, where the cable-suspended mounting design completely isolates the subwoofer from the ceiling grille.
