Latin America. DiGiCo released a "T" software version of its most compact Quantum range console, the Quantum225T. With powerful, refined hardware and Quantum processing, the Quantum225T's functionality and work surface are instantly reconfigured to provide the specialized theatrical programming tools that offer the versatility needed for sound design, rehearsals, and show operation.
In particular, Quantum225T users will quickly appreciate the console's intuitive programming and workflow, which optimizes the cue system with DiGiCo's renowned auto-update and cue data management tools.
Auto-update allows designers to establish complex relationships between cues, and changes to channel configuration are automatically propagated to other related cues. Character variations, often caused by costume and prop changes, are handled with the Alias feature, and cast changes are easily managed using the Players feature.
The console features a lightweight yet robust control surface and a full built-in mix, reducing the need for external equipment. Among its many standout features are those already known from the Quantum range, such as Mustard processing channels, native FPGA processing options such as Spice Rack plugin, nodal processing and True Solo.
The Quantum225T is equipped with 96 input channels and 48 buses, in addition to 36 and 48 Mustard and Nodal processing buses, respectively. Mixmins is also included in the new feature set, in addition to a larger 24x24 array. It has four MADI ports and two DMI ports for connectivity, 8x8 analog channels and four AES channels for local I/O, integrated UB MADI, optional Optocore and two power supplies.
