Techex has added Chaos Group's V-Ray rendering systems to its portfolio of 3D solutions. These are complete rendering solutions for architectural environments, VFX, film, media and entertainment, automotive, television and other industries that Chaos Group has been offering to the market since 1997.
With this agreement, Techex expands its portfolio of solutions for the animation and 3D markets by offering render engines for applications such as Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya.
After the creation of V-Ray as a render engine in 2002, Chaos Group was able to position this revolutionary solution as the most chosen by many 3D production studios thanks to its ability to produce high quality photorealistic images in the shortest time.
In June 2009 Chaos Group officially released V-Ray RT- the first interactive render engine for 3ds Max. The power of this interactive ray tracing technology changes the way 3D artists and visualization specialists approach the configuration of light and shadows. Now they can use the intuitive and interactive time-saving features of the V-Ray RT to fully enjoy the creative part of the rendering process.
During the month of December, Chaos Group will release its new version V-Ray 2.0 worldwide. In Madrid it will be presented on December 2 within the 3D Community Day 2011 event that Autodesk and Techex organize annually.
The new V-Ray 2.0 for 3ds Max is a complete rendering solution, combining the power of the renowned VRay render engine with the unprecedented flexibility and speed of the V-Ray RT interactive rendering system, now working on GPUs.
At this time V-Ray 2.0 is presented in beta format and will be officially released from next December 6.
