In Latin America, vaccination against Covid19 is generally well advanced, which has favored the lifting of restrictive measures of agglomerations and meetings of large groups of people, although some measures and the fear of people has not allowed some sectors to recover completely.
In the case of the audiovisual industry, the segment of live events has been one of the most affected by the pandemic and that presents a slower recovery than would be liked. At least that's how manufacturers of audio equipment for live events that we spoke to for this edition of the magazine showed.
Despite this situation, technological evolution advances and different solutions for live event audio continue to be presented that favor the quality of the audio and improve the experience of the attendees of the shows.
And although the pandemic is gradually being left behind, virtual events continue and the hybrid world is here to stay. That is why special attention should also be paid to the audio of virtual events and meetings.
All these topics are analyzed in this edition of AVI Latin America, the second of 2022, as well as in the Sound Systems Summit, a virtual and free event that will be held on April 1, organized by AVI Latin America and the TecnoMultimedia Fairs and to which they are cordially invited.
